Another former Bellator star has made his way to the UFC.

Welterweight Yaroslav Amosov (28-1) has been teasing his arrival in the promotion for some time now, and his first assignment appears to be set. Amosov is set to face Neil Magny (31-13) at the final UFC event of 2025 on December 13, 2025.

The card takes place at the UFC Apex. News of the booking was first reported by Best Fight Picks; both fighters had publicly stated that fight news was pending.

Amosov went a perfect 27-0 to start his MMA career, claiming the Bellator welterweight championship in the process. He put his career on hold when Russia invaded his native Ukraine, returning home to join in the defense of his country. In one memorable moment, Amosov was even able to recover his championship belt after his mother had hidden it ahead of Russia bombing Irpin, his hometown.

Returning to fighting in 2023 after a year and a half absence, Amosov notched a win over Logan Storley, but would then suffer his first and only pro loss against Jason Jackson, losing his title in the process.

He recently bounced back with a victory over UFC vet Curtis Millender at CFFC 140.

Neil Magny is the UFC’s welterweight fights, and wins, leader. He’s previously been ranked inside the top 15, but is on the outside looking in at the moment. That said, Magny has won his last two fights, notching victories over Elizu Zaleski dos Santos and Jake Matthews.
