Where Sean Strickland goes, chaos tends to follow, and that was the case on Sunday at a Las Vegas based Tuff-N-Uff show.
A long-running regional promotion, Tuff-N-Uff is headquartered in Vegas and ran Tuff-N-Uff 145 at The Theater at the SAHARA on Sunday. Strickland, the former UFC middleweight champion, was on hand cornering Miles Hunsinger against Luis Hernandez, and things did not go his fighter’s way.
After Hernandez submitted Hunsinger with a standing guillotine in the middleweight bout, he turned to the fighter’s corner and, taking a page out of pro wrestling’s D-Generation X, crotch chopped in Strickland’s general direction. That was enough to get Strickland and Xtreme Couture teammate Chris Curtis in the cage, unbeknownst to Hernandez, who had turned his back, though he quickly became aware.
While Curtis appeared to be looking to just get in Hernandez’s face, Strickland immediately threw a pair of right hands, before an official grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him away. Hernandez, who had ducked and covered, came up, sticking his tongue out and smirking before he and Curtis exchanged further words.

Hernandez is an undefeated fighter out of Florida, while Hunsinger has competed for LFA and PFL in the past. He was fighting for the first time since 2022 on Sunday.
Like all corners, Strickland would have been licensed as a second for the event, meaning he could be subject to disciplinary action by the Nevada Athletic Commission
Sean Strickland has not competed since losing a rematch with middleweight champ Dricus Du Plessis in February. He does not currently have a fight scheduled.
