Poland’s KSW was in action on a busy day for combat sports, with KSW 107 competing against Oktagon 72, GLORY 100, and later on, UFC Atlanta.
In the main event, KSW heavyweight champ Phil De Fries, arguably the most decorated heavyweight outside the UFC (and PFL’s Francis Ngannou), looked to continue a 14-fight win streak that had seen him capture the belt and defend it a full 11 times.
Opposite De Fries on Saturday was Arkadiusz Wrzosek, a former kickboxer under the GLORY banner who had kicked off his MMA career a perfect 6-0. Five of Wrzosek’s six wins in MMA had come via finish, and despite his striking pedigree, there was actually a submission victory among them.
