The UFC will make its second visit to Canada in 2025 when it returns to Vancouver, British Columbia on October 18.

Promotion officials announced the Fight Night date during Saturday’s UFC 316 broadcast. No bouts have been announced for the card, which follows UFC 314 in Montreal this past April.

The Vancouver stop will be the promotion’s second to the west coast city since the onset/wane of the coronavirus pandemic. The Rogers Arena will once again play host, as it did in 2023, when the promotion returned to Canada for the first time since COVID had set in and closed the planet down in early 2020.

UFC 289, which took place in June 2023, was headlined by Amanda Nunes and Irene Aldana, and marks the promotion’s last stop in Vancouver. They also visited the city in 2019, for a Fight Night card headlined by Justin Gaethje and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.

Thus far, the UFC has made six trips to Vancouver, having debuted in the city in 2010 with UFC 115, which featured a Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin light heavyweight fight in its main event. Additional stops came in 2011, 2014, and 2016. All came at the same venue, Rogers Arena (formerly known as GM Place).

While no fights have been announced for the October card, there’s a safe bet that several Canadian mainstays will be attached. In Montreal, the likes of Marc-Andre Barriault, Jasmine Jasudavicius, and Mike Malott stole the show.
