Poland’s KSW heads to France on Saturday, and takes on of their biggest stars with them, France’s own Salahdine Parnasse, who headlines KSW 106 in Lyon.
Parnasse, a double champ with KSW who had made a stab at earning a third title, was set to defend his lightweight belt against Marian Ziolkowski.
Olympian Damian Janikowski returned to action in the co-main event, meanwhile, taking on Laid Zerhouni. The 2012 bronze medal winner in Greco-Roman wrestling at the London Olympics, Janikowski was hoping to snap a two-fight skid in the fight.
The entire event in Lyon, France in Saturday featured a France vs. Poland format, playing up the national pride angle, though it was more of a friendly contest, with France an emerging market for the company and Parnasse one of its biggest stars.
