Middleweight Gregory Rodrigues, known to fight fans as “Robocop,” has Jack Hermansson in his sights.
Rodrigues (16-6) will take on Sweden’s Hermansson (24-8) as part of UFC 317 on June 28, 2025, in a fight first reported by Ag.Fight. The event takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, capping off this year’s International Fight Week.
Hermansson confirmed the booking on social media on Thursday.
The fight represents another big name for Rodrigues, who has become a fan-favorite with his hard-hitting, move forward style. Rodrigues is coming off a fourth-round TKO loss to Jared Cannonier in February that snapped a three-fight win streak – but it did take home Fight of the Night.
Jack “The Joker” Hermansson has not competed since a February 2024 victory over Joe Pyfer. That’s roughly 16 months out of action for the Swedish star, who is now 36.
Neither Robocop nor Hermansson are currently ranked at 185lbs.
No main event has been announced for UFC 317 in Las Vegas, which given its placement in International Fight Week should be one of the biggest events of the year. The following match-ups have been reported for the card thus far:
