Prediction: Smith is the one going into this fight with the hype. Smith is one of the next huge stars that’s coming from wrestling. In high school, he was a state champ. When he went on to college he wrestled for Oklahoma State and was an NCAA All-American wrestler and two-time Big 12 champion.

Savoie is very flawed, but Smith just isn’t near complete as a fighter. I fear with Smith he’s fallen in love with his striking. He’s coming off two quick knockouts but his wrestling is where he’s best. Savoie can’t be taken lightly because he can finish the fight everywhere.

With that said, if Smith has any kind of future Savoie is a guy he has to beat. His striking may not be all that great but Savoie is very hittable. Savoie’s takedown defense isn’t great and has been taken down and controlled by lesser wrestlers. I have concerns about the gas tank of Smith but Savoie gasses even worse. I think Smith is better in every area of this fight. I’ve got Smith by first-round knockout and I’m 90% confident.
