One fighter came in heavy at Thursday’s Invicta FC 57 weigh-in, but the main event atomweight title fight is set.
Elisandra “Lili” Ferreira and Andressa Romero will face off for the promotion’s historic 105lb crown, held in years past by the likes of Michelle Waterson-Gomez, Jinh Yu Frey, and Jillian DeCoursey.
In the co-main event, former Bellator star and current Invicta mainstay Kristina “War Horse” Williams was set to take on Nayara Maia in flyweight action. UFC alum Milana Dudieva, and TUF/Bellator vet DeAnna Bennett, were also scheudeled to compete. One fighter missed weight for Invicta FC 57 at Thursday’s weigh-ins, as Abby Montes came in at 148.8lbs for her featherweight fight with Jamie Edenden.
That fight will move forward at a catchweight, with Montes fined 25% of her purse.
