Prediction: Ottoni may be too much too soon for Steele, but ultimately Steele has the higher ceiling.

With Ottoni, I feel like if it wasn’t for the win over Alex Pereira, he wouldn’t be getting this shot on DWCS. And let’s not forget that fight was almost ten years ago, as well as it being the MMA debut of Pereira.

I would’ve liked to see Steele get more experience because he’s still raw. Both men are grapplers and it’s concerning for Steele because Ottoni is going to be the more experienced fighter. Yet while Ottoni is probably the smart pick, I’m siding with Steele. Steele has more upside. He can crack Ottoni on the feet and as the fight goes I believe his wrestling and grappling will excel. My pick is Steele by decision and I’m 45% confident.
