Indonesian featherweight Jeka Saragih, a runner up on the Road to UFC 1 tournament, looked to secure his second win in the promotion at UFC Vegas 93, taking on Westin Wilson.

Saragih was coming off a Performance of the Night-winning KO of Lucas Alexander, while Wilson was in search of his first UFC win, in his third fight with the company.

The fight started immediately, with Saragih coming forward looking very aggressive, throwing looping powerful strikes. Westin was able to clinch his opponent before the pair temporarily went to the ground. As the duo returned to their feet and started to head to the ground again, Westin was able to catch Saragih in a deep guillotine but eventually lost it. Westin Wilson transitioned to a triangle arm-bar and Saragih slammed Wilson to the ground in an attempt to get his opponent off. The slam actually made the triangle tighter as Wilson locked in the arm-bar and arched, forcing his opponent to tap.

In the post-fight interview Westin Wilson asked for a fight in Salt Lake City, adding that he would forgo a glove touch in future fights, after almost paying for it on Saturday.

Official Result: Westin Wilson defeats Jeka Saragih by Submission (arm-bar), Round 1, 1:49
