The “Trailblazer” Kevin Holland is headed back to 185lbs for a seemingly short-notice middleweight match-up with Michal Oleksiejczuk at UFC 302 this June.

UFC officials announced the booking during Saturday’s UFC 302 broadcast. The event takes place on June 1, 2024 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Holland (25-11, 1NC) will be looking to snap a two-fight skid and bounce back from a loss to Michael “Venom” Page at UFC 299 in March. Both of his two recent losses have gone the distance, while his last two wins came inside the distance.

Oleksiejczuk (19-7, 1NC) was last in action the very same night in Miami, falling to Michel Pereira at UFC 299. The Polish middleweight is 3-2 in his last five trips to the octagon.

Neither man is ranked at 185lbs in the UFC’s official rankings, though Holland is holding onto the #15 spot at welterweight.

UFC 302 is headlined by a lightweight title fight featuring champ Islam Makhachev taking on fan fave Dustin Poirier. The following match-ups have been reported for the event:
