UFC St. Louis has its co-feature, as the UFC is once again booking Carlos Ulberg (9-1) opposite Alonzo Menifield (15-3-1).
The booking had originally been scheduled for UFC Atlantic City last weekend; promotion officials confirmed the scrap’s co-main event status on Friday. The New Zealand Herald had previously reported the new date.
Ulberg has had an incredibly difficult time making it back to the octagon, with a pair of dates with Dominick Reyes falling through before the original Menifield match-up also floundered. The City Kickboxing product, who trains alongside middleweight great Israel Adesanya, has won five straight bouts since dropping his UFC debut to Kennedy Nzechukwu in 2021.
Most recently, “Black Jag” earned a decision win over South Korea’s Da Un Jung.
Menifield is undefeated through his last five bouts, posting a 4-0-1 record in that span. Aside from a draw opposite Jimmy Crute, Alonzo Menifield has defeated Askhar Mozharov, Misha Cirkunov, and Dustin Jacoby in that span. He also picked up the win in a rematch with Crute.
UFC St. Louis is set to take place on May 11, 2024 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, MO, and is headlined by heavyweights Derrick Lewis and Rodrigo Nascimento. The card currently features the following reported match-ups:
