The co-main event of UFC Vegas 86 promised to be an action-packed affair, as featherweights Dan Ige and Andre Fili faced off – with Fili replacing the injured Lerone Murphy.

Fili was coming off a single win in the fight, while Ige was hoping to bounce back from a loss to Bryce Mitchell.

Andre Fili had been looking for a ranked opponent for quite some time and tonight he was met with the #13 ranked UFC Featherweight in Dan Ige.

Both men came out throwing heavy shots, eliminating any sort of “feeling out process”. Fili resorted to his strong check hooks early in Round 1 as Ige continued to step in and throw powerful shots.

Just about midway through the first frame, Ige caught Fili coming in with a very lazy jab and exposed him with a huge overhand right that completely shut the lights off and put Fili down.

Dan “50K” Ige made quick work of Andre Fili tonight in Las Vegas, getting the job done by KO in Round 1. Once again, Dan Ige lives up to his nickname and fulfills yet another bonus-worthy victory. He returns to the win column and is now 3-1 in his last four fights.

Official Result: Dan Ige def. Andre Fili by KO (punch), Round 1, 2:34
