Middleweight Joe Pyfer gets a star turn at UFC Vegas 86, as the 2022 Contender Series veteran gets his first headlining spot on a UFC card opposite Jack Hermansson.
With just three fights under the UFC banner (albeit with three wins and two Performance of the Night bonuses), it’s a quick rise for Pyfer. On the other hand, UFC CEO Dana White made Pyfer one of the biggest stars from the Contender Series in recent series thanks to his “Be Joe Pyfer” speech.
As for Jack Hermansson, the Swedish standout now sits at #11 in the 185lb division and has been trading wins and losses since 2019. He enters UFC Vegas 86 off a loss to Roman Dolidze, and will be looking to bounce back.
