PFL star Cedric Doumbe will return to action this March.

Doumbe has been paired up with Baissangour “Baki” Chamsoudinov in the main event of the PFL’s March 7, 2023 trip to Paris, France. The event is set to take place at the Accor Arena.

League officials announced the booking via press release, revealing their additional trips to Newcastle, England and Glasgow, Scotland.

Both Doumbe (5-0) and Chamsoudinov (8-0) remain undefeated in their professional MMA careers, but it’s kickboxer Doumbe carrying the distinctly higher profile. He had a star turn for the PFL last year, after previously having signed with the UFC, only for a fight at UFC Paris in 2022 to fall through.

No other fights have been announced for the March 7 card, and dates for Newcastle and Glasgow were not provided.

Dan Hardy, Head of Fighter Operations for PFL Europe, was quoted in the PFL Paris announcement as saying that “We’re incredibly excited to bring the biggest French MMA Superstar, to the biggest Arena in Paris, in front of the crowd that was voted the best MMA crowd in the world in 2023. Cedric Doumbe’s presence at the top of the card will cap off what is set to be a huge night of showcase fights featuring local French and European talent, as well as the kick off of another exciting season of the PFL Europe League format.”
