It was something of a hectic morning on Friday ahead of PFL Paris (PFL Europe 3), which is set to unfold at the Zenith Paris La Villette on Saturday.
The PFL Paris weigh-ins saw two fighters run into trouble, with one pulled from the PFL Europe tournament and replaced, and another fighter yanked from their tournament semifinal with their opponent granted a walkover win.
In a lightweight tournament bout, Alex Chizov had been scheduled to take on John Mitchell. With Chizov missing weight, however, he has been replaced by Geisym Derouiche, who weighed in Friday at 156lbs on the nose.
Manuela Marconetto also missed weight for her women’s flyweight semifinal opposite Valentina Scatizzi. As a result, Scatizzi has been handed a walkover win and will advance to the tournament final.
