Dana White’s Contender Series Season 7, Week 8 Weigh-In Results

Four UFC contracts were handed out on last week’s episode of Dana White’s Contender Series, including one given to a fighter whose bout had ended in a draw. What would DWCS 2023 Episode 8 bring?

Once again this week, heavyweights were in action, no surprise given how badly the promotion was in need of them. This time out, it was undefeated Brazilian Mario Piazzon facing off with German Alexander Soldatkin. With three times the experience of his opponent, Soldatkin was undefeated in eleven fights, ever since a 2019 loss to fellow prospect Oleg Popov.

Also in action this week, former UAE Warriors bantamweight champion Vinicius de Oliveira, set to take on Victor Madrigal, a former Combate Global athlete who had found success on the regional scene.

Weigh-ins for Dana White’s Contender Series Season 7, Week 8 takes place Monday in Las Vegas, and get underway at noon ET, 9AM PT. Results can be found below. The event takes place Tuesday at the UFC Apex, streaming live on ESPN+ in the U.S. and UFC Fight Pass elsewhere.
