Heavyweights threw down on the UFC Vegas 78 preliminary card on Saturday, as Josh Parisian looked to get back in the win column against Slovakia’s Martin Buday.

Parisian (15-6) gets his first fight after a health scare got him pulled from a bout with Walt Harris in July. Prior to that he took a loss to Jamal Poques via decision.

Buday (12-1) continues his undefeated UFC run and looks to make it 4 in a row in the promotion against Parisian.

Round 1 Buday came out on fire trying to push the pace on Parisian and landing shots early. Parisian got some of his own in, but clearly was surprised by the tactics of his opponent who is usually pretty measure in the fight.

A big shot hurt Parisian early in the round and Buday swarmed looking for the finish, but Josh showed his toughness and survived long enough to recover.

Buday then looked to clinch and put Parisian on the fence, but then got reversed and Josh shot in on him instead! Unfortunately for Parisian he ended up on the bottom after the takedown and Buday took his time, softened him up, and snatched the fight with a tight kimura submission.

The heavyweight extends his overall win streak to 12 in a row.

Official Result: Martin Buday def. Josh Parisian via R1 Submission (Kimura) 4:11
