The PFL has made their trips to New York an annual affair, and two of this year’s playoff cards will take place in NYC.
On Wednesday, PFL officials announced the full line-ups for both their August 18 and August 23, 2023 playoff events. Both cards will take place at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY.
Headlining the Aug. 18 card, the second 2023 PFL playoff event, will be Brazilian heavyweight Renan Ferreira, taking on UFC vet Maurice Greene. On August 23, meanwhile, the main event will be comprised of Clay Collard, seeded #1 overall in the lightweight division, facing Shane Burgos. Last year’s champ, Olivier Aubin-Mercier, gets Bruno Miranda in the co-headliner.
Also of note, a women’s flyweight fight sees Kaytlin Neil paired up with Maira Mazar on the 18th, while UFC veteran and current ARES FC welterweight champ Laurano Staropoli makes his PFL debut that same night.
