Las Vegas, NV – It’s always nice to see a fighter get an bonus thrown their way for a job well-done after a big win, but it’s even sweeter for UFC newcomer Nursulton Ruziboev who took a short-notice bout against Brunno Ferreira on Saturday night and won.

Ruziboev (35-8) won his UFC debut over Ferreira with a impressive first-round knockout of the formerly undefeated fighter. Not known in casual fan circles Ruziboev came in and put on a show.

Ruziboev became emotional in his post-fight interview with UFC hall of famer Michael Bisping, but the joy that came from him when he found out about the bonus was something to take in.
Ruziboev came into the UFC with over 40 fights on his record, and at 29-years-old, is set to make a real splash in the middleweight division. Dispatching an opponent like Ferreira in such a manner will either guarantee him a step up in competition already or will show other middleweights try to avoid a fight with him until necessary.
Such is life in the UFC.
