Does anybody have more fun training than Sean Strickland? The UFC middleweight sparred a fan who he invited to train after meeting him out and about. What ensued was both hilarious, and a lesson to those who really think they can spar a professional MMA fighter with little to no training.

Johnny went a little harder than he probably should have against one of the tougher spars out there, but hey good on you! Good sport.

Then Strickland went ahead and sparred two professional fighters, and that may have been a tiny bit more challenging for the middleweight. Fellow UFC middleweight Chris Curtis and PFL’s Zach Juusola gave him a bit more of a challenging spar.

We need more Stricklands in MMA. It makes the sport more fun.

Strickland (26-5) is scheduled to headline this weekend’s UFC Vegas 76 card against Abus Magomedov. He had a 6-fight win streak snapped by Alex Pereira last July, then he dropped a split-decision against Jared Cannonier in Dec, but beat Nassourdine Imavov in a very late-notice main event. Imavov was originally scheduled to face Kelvin Gastelum who fell out due to injury.
