The second half of the 2023 PFL season kicks off Thursday at PFL 4, with the full card set to weigh-in on Wednesday.
Taking place at the Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, PFL 4 is a new look card at least where the light heavyweight division was concerned. The weight class was decimated by drug test failures stemming from the promotion’s first three events in Nevada in April, with defending champ Rob Wilkinson, Thiago Santos, Krzysztof Jotko, and Will Fleury among those hit with suspensions and out of the season.
On the flip side, featherweight came out of that carnage relatively unscathed, with top talents like returning champ Brendan Loughnane, fellow former 145lb champion Movlid Khaybulaev, Chris Wade, and Bubba Jenkins all set to carry on in the tournament.
