This is the league’s second visit to Texas as they held three events in Arlington in 2022.
As of now 2022 featherweight champ Brendan Loughnane leads the featherweights with five points and is trailed by Bubba Jenkins, Movlid Khaybulaev, and Gabriel Braga with 3 points each.
At light heavyweight Marthin Hamlet is in first place with 6 points, followed by Josh Silveira with 6 points, and Ty Flores with 3 points.
Rob Wilkinson had 3 points and was the 4th seed prior to being removed for the season following a failed drug test for an unspecified substance. Thiago Silva and Krzysztof Jotko also failed drug tests.
The announcement of the PFL playoffs setting follows a bittersweet couple of weeks for the promotion.
The announcement of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou signing with the promotion was shortly followed by reports that 10 PFL fighters were flagged for failed drug tests.
