June’s KSW Colosseum 2 card continues to grow, with the promotion adding three title fights to the event’s line-up this week.
In arguably the most anticipated, featherweight champ Saladine Parnasse (17-1), who also holds interim lightweight gold, will finally face off with 155lb champion Marian Ziolkowski (25-8-1). The pair were expected to throw down earlier this year, only for Ziolkowski to drop out of the fight, leaving the promotion to create an interim title for Parnasse and replacement opponent Sebastian Rajewski.
KSW will also crown a new middleweight champion at the Colosseum 2 card, as the vacant belt will be up for grabs between Pawel Pawlak (21-4-1) and Tomasz Romanowski (18-8). The title was previously held by ONE Championship’s Roberto Soldic, as well as current UFC contender Dricus Du Plessis.
The third newly announced title fight for KSW Colosseum 2 sees bantamweight champ Jakub Wikłacz (14-3-1) attempt to make the first defense of his title against Brazilian challenger Werlleson Martins (18-5). Wikłacz defeated Sebastian Przybysz at KSW 77 in the rubber match of their trilogy to capture the belt earlier this year.
KSW Colosseum 2 takes place on June 3, 2023 at the PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland, the same venue that hosted the record-setting first Colosseum event in 2017. The card will be headlined by Scott Askham and Mamed Khalidov closing out their trilogy, while heavyweight Mariusz Pudzianowski also returns, against former pro boxer and WBC contender Artur Szpilka.
