The vacant welterweight championship will be up for grabs in the main event of KSW 81 next month.

On Wednesday, promotion officials announced via press release that undefeated standout Adrian Bartosinski (13-0) will face Artur Szczepaniak (9-1) atop the card on April 22. The show takes place at the Arena Lodowa in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Poland.

Adrian Bartosinski joined KSW in 2021 by winning all of his bouts on reality TV show ‘Only One.’ An injury took him out of the show’s finale; he instead jumped straight to KSW and has finished all four of his fights to date.

Impressively, “Bartos” has not gone to a decision since 2018, and has won 11 of his 13 fights inside the distance. In his four KSW fights, he has less than 15 minutes of cage time.

Artur Szczepaniak has just a single loss in his pro career, against current UFC fighter Benoit Saint-Denis. Like Bartosinski, he’s a finisher, having earned stoppages in his last six fights — including his two bouts under the KSW promotional banner. In his last outing, Szczepaniak stopped Dutch striker Brian Hooi inside of a round, taking all of 43 seconds to land a head kick then finish with strikes.

Also announced on Wednesday, Tomasz Sarara (1-1) and Dutch kickboxer Errol Zimmerman (0-1) will meet at KSW 81 in a heavyweight showdown between two talented strikers.
