Week 6 of the 2023 PFL Challenger Series goes down Friday night in Orlando, Florida, and a day earlier, all fighters successfully made weight for the card.

It’s featherweights in action this week on the Challenger Series, with a spot in the PFL’s regular season up for grabs. Topping the four-fight card is undefeated Mexican standout Brahyan Zurcher, who picked up a win on the Challenger Series a year ago, but did not land a contract that night.

Given his lack of experience, even Zurcher wasn’t surprised by that turn of events. But after winning a second bout in the Professional Fighters League over the summer, a qualifier for this year’s Challenger Series, Zurcher is back, fighting his most experienced opponent yet in David Evans.

Ireland’s Nathan Kelly, a Bellator MMA alum who made his PFL debut last year, will also be in action on Friday night. He anchors the co-headliner against Zack Hicks. Kelly enters the night on a six-fight win streak.

Full results from Thursday’s weigh-in can be found below.
