Invicta FC 52 goes down next month in Denver, Colorado, and marks the promotion’s second event of 2023.
On Thursday, promotion officials announced multiple bouts for the March 15 card, confirming the previously reported main event between strawweight champion Valesca Machado and challenger Danni McCormack.
In the evening’s co-main event, another strawweight pair looking to return to the winner’s circle will be in action. That bout will see Karolina Wójcik (10-3) and Ediana Silva (12-3) collide, after both came up short in Invicta’s strawweight tournament.
UFC veteran Ramona Pascual (6-5) also returns to action at Invicta FC 52. Fighting initially as a featherweight, the fighter representing Hong Kong went 0-2 in the promotion before dropping to bantamweight for a third fight inside the octagon. That match-up, with Tamares Vidal, didn’t go her way either, after Vidal ended things with a flying knee.
Pascual will look to bounce back in a 145lb match-up with Bellator MMA veteran Amber Leibrock (6-4). Leibrock has won three straight, and holds notable wins over Janay Harding and one of Ronda Rousey’s “Four Horsewomen,” Marina Shafir.
Invicta FC 52 will take place on March 15, 2023 at ReelWorks Denver in Denver, CO. The full card as announced to date can be found below:
