The PFL Challenger Series returned to action Friday night, with the women’s featherweight division in play.

With the league introducing the weight class this year, replacing lightweight, there was at least one shot at making the regular season roster on the line. Could two spots be available? PFL analyst and week two celebrity judge Randy Couture suggested earlier this week that it could be possible.

In other words, it was a big night for the featherweights, who were looking to join a field that included Aspen Ladd, Julia Budd, and Larissa Pacheco (with Kayla Harrison moving on to the Super-Fight division).

Among those in action, Michelle Montague returned to the PFL Challenger Series, after picking up a win on the show last year. Montague was paired up with Shaquita Woods — who had been waiting the better part of a year to finally make her professional debut.

Woods served as a back-up fighter on the Challenger Series last year, and in late 2022 saw a fight in A1 Combat fall through.

In the main event, Amanda Leve faced off with Naranjargal Tsend-Ayush.
