The Professional Fighters League has announced the line-up for the light heavyweight edition of the PFL Challenger Series in 2023.

Promotion officials revealed the news in a press release on Thursday. The card takes place in Orlando, FL, airing on Fubo Sports Network on March 10, 2023. It will mark the final event structured by weight class, with the last Challenger Series card of 2023 featuring “second chance” fights involving athletes previously featured on the series.

In the light heavyweight main event, UFC veteran Impa Kasanganay (10-3) returns to action, paired up with Egypt’s Osama Elseady (8-2).

Kasanganay won his only fight since exiting the UFC when he defeated fellow Ultimate Fighting Championship vet Jared Gooden at XMMA 5 in a middleweight match-up last July. Elseady is coming off a win in Brave CF against Mohamed Ali Sellam.

“The PFL Challenger Series features fighters from around the world looking for an opportunity to build a legacy in the SmartCage and we’re excited to introduce the competitors for the Light Heavyweight division,” said PFL President of Fighter Operations, Ray Sefo in Thursday’s press release.

The full PFL Challenger Series light heavyweight line-up breaks down as follows:

  • Impa Kasanganay vs. Osama Elseady
  • Nick Kohring vs. Joey Angelo
  • Taylor Johnson vs. Trey Williams
  • Monte Morrison vs. Roland Dunlap
