After a one-week break the UFC is back in action this weekend, with UFC Vegas 62 seeing the octagon returning to the Apex.
Headlining the Fight Night event is a women’s flyweight match-up between contenders Alexa Grasso and Viviane Araujo. While unlikely to push the winner into an immediate title shot, the bout is still an important next step for both women’s championship dreams.
In the co-main event, an interesting bantamweight affair. In that, “Killer” Cub Swanson, now officially a member of the UFC Hall of Fame, is set to make his bantamweight debut against Jonathan Martinez. Swanson was tight-lipped during Wednesday’s media day about the weight cut and everything else. So tight lipped that he had teammate Dan Argueta doing his talking for him.
