ONE Championship kicked off the first of two cards this week with ONE 161, featuring a featherweight Muay Thai title fight in the main event.
That world title fight would see Petchmorakot Petchyindee put his belt on the line against Tawanchai P.K.Saenchai in a striking fan’s dream. The stand-up battles would not stop there, as the semi final round of ONE’s heavyweight kickboxing grand prix also featured on Thursday’s card.
On the MMA side of things, Oumar Kane, a.k.a. “Reug Reug,” was back in action, in a heavyweight lead card fight against Batradz Gazzaev. Indian wrestling standout Ritu Phogat, meanwhile, was paired up with Tiffany Teo in a key atomweight fight.
