RIZIN Landmark Vol. 3 took place on May 5, 2022 at an undisclosed location in Japan, with a standout name in the card’s main event.

While featuring just a handful of fights, as with previous Landmark cards (they like keep them small and mysterious, it seems), Thursday’s outing featured Kleber Koike Erbst in the main event. Entering his second fight of 2022, Erbst was matched up against Kyohei Hagiwara, and was looking for his six consecutive victory.

A former KSW featherweight champion, the Brazilian-born fighter had not lost since a 2018 meeting with future UFC star Mateusz Gamrot. Another big win, and he could soon be vying for the title — though Thursday’s bout came at a 150 pound catchweight.

Another standout match-up on the RIZIN Landmark Vol. 3 card: a tag team grappling match featuring Olympic medalist Shinobu Ota, pro wrestler and PRIDE/Strikeforce vet Daisuke Nakamura, taking on UFC veteran Masanori Kanehara and DREAM tournament winner Hideo Tokoro — the man who held the record for competing in the most weight classes in MMA history (seven in total).

RIZIN Landmark Vol. 3 takes place on Wednesday, May 5, 2022. Full results from the event can be found below. The card is available on PPV right here.
