The Professional Fighters Leage returns to action on Friday, and for PFL Challenger Series 5, it’s the lightweight division in the spotlight.
The four-fight card is topped by Brazilian standout Bruno Miranda, a proven finisher riding a four-fight win streak into Friday night. The only question mark for Miranda: the bout will be his first since 2019, which brings up the age-old question of ring rust.
Opposite Miranda will be Carson Frei, looking to make it two wins in a row — and like Miranda hoping to earn a spot in the PFL’s regular season.
Also on the card, Canadian Michael Dufort will look to bounce back from a loss to countryman and former UFC fighter Kyle Prepolec when he takes on “Prime Time” Arust Pogosjan. The Armenian has won his last three outings, and most recently appeared for Fury FC during the filming of Dana White’s Lookin’ for a Fight — though he was not signed to a UFC deal.
