The Ultimate Fighter Season 30 Cast Breakdown: The Heavyweights

Jordan Heiderman, 30-years-old, 5-0

Pros

  • Good jab
  • Nice output
  • Sneaky good uppercut
  • Good right hand
  • Good leg kicks
  • Credible wrestling
  • Submission threat with chokes

Cons

  • Easily hit
  • Too willing to brawl
  • Body language worsens as the fight goes

Heiderman is a tough guy who win or lose, he’s going to be a tough out. He’s probably a better wrestler and grappler but will stand and bang more often. Heiderman has some good tools on the feet but doesn’t have the defensive tendencies to match. Being a heavyweight that will go blow for blow, but leaves himself open, is a bad idea.

While Heiderman doesn’t fight the prettiest fight, he will definitely put on a show. I know can make an impression Heiderman, but not as a top heavyweight prospect.
