Not many are aware that Ilia Topuria has a brother and talent does runs deep between the two. Alexsandre Topuria is the older brother only by a week. He’s only 3-1 but when he suffered his first loss he took a six-year layoff. He came back last December and got back to his winning ways. His last name a lot he has hype behind him but his skillset can’t be discredited either.
Daguir Imavov is the brother of UFC welterweight Nassourdine Imavov who is killing it currently. Daguir is the much older brother and has more experience. When Nassourdine won in his last fight instead of calling for a ranked opponent he asked Dana to sign his brother. He’s similar to the style of Nassourdine with his striking but is more seasoned.
A larger audience may know who Junior Cortez already is. Not only is he the brother of Tracy Cortez but he fought last season on the Contender Series. A fight he lost but had a good showing proving a ton of grit and heart. He’s a good striker and with the right guidance he can one day make it to the UFC.
