About two years ago, Romero was one of the most talked-about prospects out there. Despite earning a huge win on the Contender Series in 2020, he was snubbed of a UFC contract, but it seemed like the UFC would come calling again. They never did and a loss last year did set him back. Romero got back on the board in November though. With his well-rounded ability and still being so young, he has a high ceiling. It would be a smart move by Bellator to snatch this kid up.
