15 Female Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2022

Jamey-Lyn Horth Wessels (Flyweight)

31 | 5’7” | Squamish, British Columbia | 5-0 | 100% Finish Rate | 3 KO/TKOs, 2 Submission’s (RNC) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 18-6 | Best win – Mayra Cantuária (9-3-1)

Among all the many top Canadian prospects, Wessels’ name is brought up a lot. That was evident when she beat a talented Jade Masson-Wong for the BFL title. Wessels was supposed to fight this past Summer on the Contender Series but VISA issues held that back. She did recently sign with LFA making her debut headlining the card fighting for and winning the vacant LFA title.

There isn’t really a lot of footage on Wessels; going alone off her last fight she’s top-notch. Basically, it’s the pressure, wrestling, and a solid work rate is what she brings to the cage. Being an LFA champion it’s a matter of time before the UFC signs Wessels.
