TJ “Downtown” Brown (15-8 MMA, 1-2 UFC)

Featherweight (145lbs.): 1-2 (UFC), Missed weight 1x in UFC

TJ Brown is a veteran of the 2019 Season of the Contender Series. Brown was able to successfully submit his opponent, Dylan Lockard, to earn an Ultimate Fighting Championship contract. This bout took place in the featherweight division.

Prior to the bout, during his time in the regional MMA promotions, Brown had fought at both featherweight and lightweight.

Brown weighed in at 146.5lbs for his fight against Danny Chavez in August of 2020. Brown was able to successfully make weight for his most recent  fight in May of last year.

At 31 years old and standing at 5’9″ tall with a 73.5″ reach,  Brown could potentially see a move up in weight pretty soon. In fact, he’s seeing one this weekend, with Charles Rosa stepping up on short notice to replace Gabriel Benitez. Due to Rosa coming in on just three days’ notice at UFC Vegas 46, what had been a featherweight match-up will now come at 15lbs.
