Prediction
I like both of these guys but I feel there is a clear-cut winner in Burlinson. The way I would see Lainesse winning is hurting Burlinson with his power. Or just make it ugly and work in takedowns to win minutes.
Watch Burlinson’s fight with Ole Magnor — he can definitely take a shot. So far, Burlinson hasn’t had a problem with takedown defense either. From a striking and grappling standpoint, Burlinson is far more equipped. Especially on the feet where Burlinson can pick apart at his range and counter Lainesse coming in. On the feet is where Lainesse is the strongest, but he swings too wild and throws single strikes too often to be a threat to Burlinson. I’m confident in Burlinson here, but I would stay away from betting this. Burlinson is around -300 and that’s too much to bet on him and still not a good enough price for Lainesse.
