Poland’s KSW returned to action on Saturday, and with KSW 64 came a long-awaited super-heavyweight clash.
Mariusz Pudzianowski was, for this rare occasion, going to be the smaller man against the massive Serigne Ousmane Dia, better known perhaps as “Bombardier.” The pair had been expected to face off earlier this year, only for an acute appendicitis attack to fell Ousmane Dia at the last minute.
Ahead of the rebooked fight between the massive pair, “Bombardier” hit the scales at a whopping 327lbs. That made former World’s Strongest Man Pudizanowski look downright svelte in comparison, at 260lbs.
Well over 500lbs of muscle would be slugging it out in the co-main event of KSW 64. The main event, meanwhile, saw bantamweight champion Sebastian Przybysz put his title on the line against Brazilian challenger Bruno Augusto dos Santos.
