Bellator 268: Julius Anglickas Gets Opportunity of a Lifetime Against Nemkov

With the unfortunate news of Anthony “Rumble” Johnson having to withdraw from the main event title fight against Vadim Nemkov at Bellator 268, Julius Anglickas stepped up on short notice for the opportunity of a lifetime.

To get in there against a fighter the caliber of Nemkov is a tall order for any elite light heavyweight out there, much less for a relatively unknown fighter like Anglickas. But the 10-1 fighter is up for the challenge of taking on one of the most dangerous Light Heavyweights on the planet in an effort to shock the MMA world. And as he’s mentioned during fight week, Anglickas isn’t feeling any pressure on him. That, despite the odds being stacked against him as he gets set to take on one of the most intimidating opponents possible.

In the co-main event, Bellator Heavyweight champion Ryan Bader takes on fellow veteran Corey Anderson to determine who will advance to the light heavyweight Grand Prix final against the winner of Nemkov and Anglickas. It’s a fight that’s very close to call and predict, but one that is sure to deliver no matter what the outcome is.
