Prediction

Hood was supposed to fight earlier this season but it didn’t happen, as he was forced to withdraw. Martin Buday was originally paired up with Hugo Cunha this week. But with Cunha out Hood will be taking this fight on short notice.

When it comes to Buday, he’s got poor footwork and is simply too slow. A lot of times he’s not setting the pace. Still, Buday has power, and it’s his technical ability and the jab that makes him dangerous.

In all honestly, Hood is a can crusher and isn’t UFC level. His last opponent had a 1-10 record, which isn’t the sort of opponent you should be fighting when you have over ten wins yourself. Hood hasn’t beaten anyone with a winning record since 2014. He does have a lot of knockout power so he’s always going to be a threat. Maybe he can get something off on the more stationary Buday. Hood would have to do it fast or he will gas and Buday will pick him apart and that’s what I think will happen. The pick in Buday and I’m confident. The bet I’d recommend is the over 1.5 rounds.
