A pair of UFC welterweights will collide this coming January.

MMA DNA was first to break the news that UFC veteran Court McGee will fight Ramiz Brahimaj on January 15 at a yet-to-be-announced UFC event. Calvin Kattar and Giga Chikadze are expected to headline the card. Both fighters would confirm the booking on social media.

McGee (20-10) earned a much-needed win in his last outing, which saw him defeat Cláudio Silva via unanimous decision. The victory snapped a three-fight losing streak in which he was defeated by Carlos Condit, Sean Brady, and Dhiego Lima. The Ultimate Fighter Season 11 winner and long-time UFC veteran has two wins in the last four years and will be looking to go on a late-career run.

Brahimaj (9-3) picked up his first UFC win in August. He submitted Sasha Palatnikov in the first round at UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs. Gastelum, keeping his 100% finish rate intact. Brahimaj infamously lost his UFC debut via doctor stoppage when his ear was almost ripped from his head.

No location, venue, or broadcast plan has been officially announced for the January 15 event.

The UFC’s January 15 Fight Night card currently breaks down as follows:
