A pair of lightweight prospects will collide at a UFC Fight Night in November.

MMA DNA was the first to report the news that Terrance McKinney will fight Fares Ziam on November 20 at a yet-to-be-announced UFC event. A source close to the situation later confirmed the fight to Cageside Press.

McKinney (11-3) burst onto the UFC scene in fantastic fashion. He knocked out Matt Frevola in seven seconds at UFC 263 on less than a week’s notice. The knockout was the quickest in lightweight history. Eight days before his octagon debut, McKinney knocked out Michael Irizarry in the main event of LFA 109. McKinney has a 100% finish rate in his 11 wins.

On the same fight card of his upcoming opponent, Ziam (12-3) defeated Luigi Vendramini via unanimous decision. The French fighter is on a two-fight win streak since losing his promotional debut at UFC 242 in 2019. He defeated Jamie Mullarkey in his only 2020 fight.

No location, venue, or broadcast plan has been announced for the November 20 event, but promotion President Dana White said that all Fight Nights will be staying at the Apex in Las Vegas, NV.

So far, the November 20 card looks like this.

  • Cody Durden vs. Aoriqileng
  • Alexa Grasso vs. Joanne
  • Cheyanne Buys vs. Loma Lookboonmee
  • Terrance McKinney vs. Fares Ziam
