Poland’s KSW returns to action this weekend, with KSW 62 headlined by Olympic gold medalist Szymon Kolecki. Weigh-ins for the event took place Friday morning in Warsaw, with all fighters successfully making weight for Saturday’s card.
Kolecki (9-1), who won a gold medal in weight lifting at the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing, in addition to a silver medal in 2000’s Sydney Olympics, will take on bodybuilder Akop Szostak (4-3) in the main event. Kolecki sits on a three fight win streak, during which he has earned finishes over Mariusz Pudzianowski and Damian Janikowski. In his last outing, he fought to a unanimous decision win over veteran Martin Zawada.
