A pair of bright UFC middleweight prospects will look to continue their win streaks in May.

MMA Fighting was the first to report the news that Kyle Daukaus will fight Phil Hawes on May 8 at UFC on ESPN 24. Daukaus would later confirm the booking on social media.

Daukaus (10-1) was supposed to fight Aliaskhab Khizriev last weekend at UFC on ABC 2, however, the fight was canceled due to COVID-19 protocols. The Philadelphia native got back into the win column after losing his UFC debut to Brendan Allen with a dominant unanimous decision win over Dustin Stoltzfus.

Hawes (10-2) is riding a six-fight win streak and has never looked better. He defeated a very tough Nassourdine Imavov in his last fight via a unanimous decision, proving he can go three rounds. In his UFC debut, he knocked out Jacob Malkoun in 18 seconds.

The winner of this fight can really themselves apart as a middleweight contender.

As of now, the fight will take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. With this last addition, the UFC on ESPN: Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw lineup on May 8 now looks like:
