UFC flyweights Ode Osbourne and Amir Albazi are set to collide on July 17.

The flyweight bout was first reported by MMA Junkie on Tuesday. Both men will be looking to improve to 2-0 in 2021 with a victory.

Osbourne (9-3) will look to build off of his current momentum after earning his first UFC victory in February. This will be Osbourne’s first fight at 125lbs in the UFC. In his promotional debut he faced Brian Kelleher in a bantamweight bout on short notice. He followed that up with a victory over Jerome Rivera in a 145lb encounter.

Albazi (14-1) has been a force to be reckoned with since making his UFC debut in July of 2020. He has earned back-to-back victories over Malcolm Gordon and Zhalgas Zhumagulov earning him a spot in the flyweight rankings. The Swede will look to begin his climb toward the top of the division with a victory in July.

No location, venue, or broadcast details have yet to be announced by the promotion for UFC’s July 17 Fight Night event. Only two fights have been reported for the card thus far, including Osbourne vs. Albazi. The other features the return of former UFC women’s bantamweight champ Miesha Tate, who will face the retiring Marion Reneau.
