UFC 259 is official. And that includes the three title fights topping mammoth-sized event.
Jan Blachowicz vs. Israel Adesanya, Amanda Nunes vs. Megan Anderson, and Petr Yan vs. Aljamain Sterling are all set. All six fighters weighed in without issue on Friday morning in Las Vegas. Anderson was the last of the bunch to hit the scale, but was still well within the weigh-in window.
In fact, only one fighter failed to make weight for UFC 259. Flyweight Askar Askarov, #3 in the 125lb division, blew weight by a single pound. With an hour left, he opted not to cut further, nor did he attempt to weigh in with a barrier.
