Makhmud Muradov has been in the fight game for a while, since 2012, but is new to the UFC with just two fights in the Octagon. That experience shows through though, especially with his striking. Muradov has absolute vicious intentions with every single strike that he throws. Far and away, Muradov’s most powerful weapons are his hands and the vast majority of his TKO/KOs are via punches.
Muradov has experienced something of a surge in the second half of his career, he is 13-0 since 2017 and has finished 10 of those opponents by TKO/KO. This time period also included three knockouts, with the first one (in 2018) coming with just 10 seconds left in the fight. Muradov scored another KO late in a fight when he first flurried a combination to the body before going upstairs with a massive right that faceplanted his opponent Trevor Smith.
He’ll be facing the durable Andrew Sanchez on the main card of UFC 257.
