Damon Jackson has a very slick submission background and knows how to finish fights, with 17 finishes on his record including 14 by submission. Jackson first got a shot in the UFC back in 2015, but it was short-lived and lasted just two fights.
Since being released by the UFC in 2015, Damon has finished eight opponents, seven of them by submission, and captured the vacant LFA featherweight championship. Jackson’s dominant run captured the attention of the UFC once again, and in September he picked up his first win with the promotional giant, against Mirsad Bektic via guillotine choke in the third round.
Jackson is durable, has lots of high-level experience, and knows how to finish fights late making him a fighter you can never count out.
